Viewing Study Details

To view study details, follow the steps listed below.

  1. Click the Physician Access menu icon () on the left vertical pane.
  2. Click Recent Studies.
  3. Select a case to open.

    The selected case is highlighted and the case details are shown on the right hand side.

    The study details displayed are as follows:

    • Patient name (including last, first, and middle), patient ID/MRN, Gender, Age (calculated from the date of birth (DOB)) and DOB (dd mm yyyy).

    • Portal Case Number is displayed below the patient name.

    • The Resources tab is open by default. It displays a study attached for a patient and reports. The study details displayed are the Study Name, Accession No., Modality, Study Date and Time, and Site Name.

    • The Case Summary shows the Physician Name and the case summary is displayed as follows:

      "Case Created / 1 study added by user. See Resources"

    • When the case is automatically created by the RIS (Radiology Information System) notification, the case summary is displayed as follows:

      "Case Created / Study automatically added by system based on RIS instructions. See Resources"

    • When reports are added to an existing case, the case summary displays the physician's name and the below details:

      "Case Update / Added the following: / Report -17Feb1990-cris27020-FINAL-[7].txt"

      Note:

      This is an example of report’s name. Actual name may vary.

    • If an error occurs at the time of creating the report. the case summary displays the Physician name and the below details:

      "Case Update / HL7 Report creation failed"

    • The latest update to the case is displayed at the top.

      Note:

      If the case was shared with Group(s) you can hover over the group name to view the list of members of the group. A Blue group icon () indicates that the current list of the Group members is identical to the list of the Group members when the transaction occurred. While you hover the mouse over the group name, it shows a list of group members. The group member details are displayed in the format - Salutation, First Name, Last Name, Practice Name.

      The Red group icon () indicates that the group’s membership as occurred at the time of the transaction is different than the current list of the group’s members. While you hover the mouse over the group name, it shows a list of its members, and at the title a note is displayed as Current list of group members has changed. The group member details are displayed in the format - Salutation, First Name, Last Name, Practice Name.

      The Gray group icon () for the group indicates that the group name was either Retired or Changed. While you hover the mouse over the group name, it shows a list of members, and at the title a note is displayed as Retired Group. The group member details are displayed in the format - Salutation, First Name, Last Name, Practice Name.

    • When the case is downloaded, the case summary is updated as follows (also showing the date and time of download):

      "All Studies And Documents were downloaded."
