If you are a self-registered user with no access to site(s), you will not be able to create a case. The Create Case button is disabled and when you point the cursor on the button, the tooltip below is displayed.
"You do not have the permission to Create Case. If you think you should have the permission, contact your Site Admin."
A case in Edison™
Datalogue™ Connect may contain attachments (such as one or more DICOM studies and associated reports for a patient), or no attachments. If a case contains studies, each study can have multiple series of image data.
To create a case in the case list, follow the steps listed below.
- Click the Case Exchange icon (
) on the left vertical pane. - Click All Cases.
- On the case list page, click the Create Case button.
You can create the following methods on the create case page:

Create a case with images from CD/DVD/local file system.

Create a case with attachments from DICOM devices by adding studies from DICOM devices (including PACS).

Create a case with non-DICOM attachments by adding the non-DICOM files with the following file extensions:
.pdf; .doc; .docx; .xls; .xlsx; .csv; .rtf; .tiff; .tif; .txt; .bmp; .jpg; .jpeg; .ppt; .pptx; .xml; .mp4; .mov; .cda; .dcm; .czi; .mp3; .wma; .avi; .mpg; .rar

Create a case by attaching templates.
You can create a combination of following items in a case:

Create a case with DICOM from a device/PACS, non-DICOM attachments and templates.

Create a case with DICOM attachments from CD/DVD/local file system, non-DICOM attachments and templates.
