Creating a Department

  1. Click the Configuration menu icon () on the left vertical pane.
  2. Click Org Management.
    The Organizational Structure page is displayed. The Sites and Departments tab is opened by default.
  3. Click to expand the row for the selected site.
  4. Click Departments tab in the left column.
  5. Click New Department to open the Add New Department dialog.
  6. Fill the Department Name field.
    Note:

    Department name should be unique.

    It is recommended to avoid the HTML Entity Names such as, &, ", <, > and so on in the Department Name. If you use any of these HTML Entity Names in the Department Name, then in the notification e-mail they are not displayed as they appear on the application screen.

    For example, when you add department name as Research & Development Department, it is displayed in notification email as Research & Development Department.

  7. Enter e-mail in the Co-Admin fields to assign department administrators.
  8. Click Save.
    The Site & Departments display is updated with the new department.
