Viewing DICOM attachments in Centricity Universal Viewer Zero Footprint Client (ZFP)

This procedure requires MDT Group Member or Coordinator privileges.
You can view the DICOM attachments in the Centricity™ Universal Viewer Zero Footprint Client (ZFP). It provides an easy access to DICOM images attached to a case without having to download and install additional tools on your device.
  1. On the left pane, click MDT to expand the menu item.
  2. Click My MDT.

    The case list appears.

    Note: Only in progress (non-finalized) cases are listed under My MDT.

    Processed/finalized MDT cases are available under the Case Exchange > All Cases menu item.

  3. Click a case to select it.

    The selected case is highlighted and the case details are shown on the right-hand side.

  4. Click the DICOM study of your interest in the Case Summary section.

    If one or more local viewers are also configured for MDT, these are shown with their own buttons together with the ZFP button upon clicking on the DICOM study. In this case, click the ZFP button to open the study in the Centricity™ Universal Viewer Zero Footprint Client (ZFP).

    Alternatively, you can open the DICOM study from the Studies section of the Resources tab on the right of the Case Summary section.

    The DICOM attachment opens in the ZFP DICOM Viewer, showing the study information, such as patient name, patient ID, medical record number (MRN), accession number, patient date of birth, patient age, study date, study time, and study description/study modality in the header.

    Note: Displayed study information may vary depending on the study itself.
