Moving Inbox/Archived Case to MDT

Note:

This feature is disabled in the following cases:

  • The case is locked.

  • The case is confidential.

  • The upload of an attachment has failed.

  • The case has expired.

To send a case to Edison Datalogue Connect Multi-Disciplinary Team Meeting (MDT), follow the steps listed below.

  1. Click the Case Exchange icon () on the left vertical pane.
  2. Click All Cases.

    The list of shared and received cases are displayed.

    Note:

    You can also send an archived case to MDT.

    To send an archived case, click the Archived sub-menu under the Case Exchange main menu.

  3. On the case list screen, select the case.

    The case details are displayed on the right-hand side.

  4. Click the (menu) button on the right-hand side of the screen.
  5. Click Send to MDT.
    Note:

    If the case does not contain patient data, the following error message is displayed:

    "The case cannot be sent to MDT because there is no patient data."

  6. Enter the MDT group name in the Choose MDT Group field.
    Note:

    The MDT groups that are used recently are listed in Recently Used.

    If the group name that you are looking for is listed in Recently Used, you can click on the group name and the name appears in the Choose MDT Group field.

    On entering the MDT group name, the details of the selected MDT group (e.g., Occurrence, Location, Group Coordinators, Members) are displayed.

    Note:

    To delete the MDT group selection, click the cross icon ().

    Note:

    If the Occurrence period is not specified, it will display On Demand.

    If the occurrence is specified, you can view the time and period by scrolling down.

    To view the next or previous occurrence, you can click the next or previous arrow buttons.

  7. Enter the reason of sending the case in the Clinical Reason field.
  8. Select the check box at the Protected Health Information (PHI) acknowledgment:

    I acknowledge that I am following my organization's policies and procedures for sharing Protected Health Information (PHI)

  9. Click Send to MDT.

    The application displays the following message and the case is moved to the Sent to MDT sub-menu:

    "Case has been successfully scheduled for <date and time> <name of MDT group> group."
