Viewing Case Details
To view the case details, follow the steps listed below.
- Click the Case Exchange icon (
) on the left vertical pane.
- Click All Cases.
The list of shared and received cases is displayed.
- Select a case to open.
The case details displayed are as follows:

The blue banner displays the following patient information:

First name and last name.

Patient ID.
-
Gender.
-
Date of birth (DOB).

Age.
Note:The blue banner displays Patient demographics not available if the patient’s details were not provided during case creation.
Note:The banner may display N/A under a field if the patient’s details were not provided in the corresponding fields during case creation.

If a case was marked as confidential during case creation, the Confidential label is displayed below the blue banner, otherwise the subject of the case/patient name is displayed.
Note:If the Subject field was populated with the patient’s name during case creation, the patient’s name is displayed on the case details screen.

Below the subject/patient name, the case number (Case No.) is displayed.

Below the case number, the Show Admin Events link is displayed.
When you click this link, if any events are performed on the case such as locking/unlocking a case or case creation through automation instruction, the logs of these events are displayed. By default the event logs are hidden.
You can show/hide the admin events using the toggle action.

On the right-hand side of the subject/patient name, the case is indicated with the lock (
), high priority (
) and/or Reviewed (
) icons, depending on the actions that are performed on the case.
The case summary section displays the case creation and case sharing history with the latest activity on top.

If the case was marked as high priority during case creation, the high priority icon (
) is displayed before the sender's name.

If the case is shared with one person, it is indicated with this icon (
) before the recipient's name.
Hovering over the recipient's name displays the recipient's full name (last name, first name) and email address.

If the case is shared with a group, it is indicated with this icon (
) before the group name.
All group members can see the shared case in their Case Inbox.
If there is any change in the group participants such as an addition or deletion of a case participant(s), the icon turns red (
). On hovering over the icon, if one or more new participants are added, the members can be viewed in red text.

If the sender of the case has requested a read receipt during case creation, this icon (
) is displayed beside the sender’s name. Once the recipient of the case has acknowledged the read receipt, this icon (
) is displayed beside the sender's name. When you hover over this icon (
), you can view the name of the recipient who has acknowledged the read receipt.

If a DICOM file is attached, the attachment will display the accession number, modality and the date of study.
You can click on the file to view it in DICOM Viewer.
For detailed instructions on how to use the integrated ZFP DICOM Viewer, refer to the Centricity™ Universal Viewer Zero Footprint Client (ZFP) user documentation.
You can also select the Viewer type you want to view the DICOM study in by clicking the drop-down menu beside the attachment and selecting the Viewer type.
Note:If there is no UV Viewer deployed in the site, the drop-down menu will not be displayed beside the file name.

If a non-DICOM file is attached, you can click on the file to view it in Document Viewer.
You can also download the file by clicking the drop-down menu next to the file name and clicking the Download button.

If the upload of a file is in processing state, the attachment is displayed with the Processing... label on it.

If the upload of a file has failed, the attachment is displayed in red.
Note:If an XML file is attached to the case, on hovering the mouse pointer over such files, the following tooltip is displayed:
"File format not supported in the document viewer"
