Searching a Case

You can search a case in the case list by patient name, patient ID, sender name, case ID or subject of the case.

To search for a case, follow the steps listed below.

  1. Click the Case Exchange icon () on the left vertical pane.
  2. Click All Cases.

The list of shared and received cases is displayed.

  3. On the case list page, enter the patient's name (first, middle, or last), patient ID, sender's name, case ID or subject in the Search box and then click the Search icon ().
    Note:
    • Enter last name and first name while entering patient's full name.

For example, enter "Wi" to search for all patients with last names "wi" in their name or to search for a case with subject "Wi" in it.

    • To perform a search, at least two characters are required to be entered.

If you enter only a single character and click the Search icon, the following error message is displayed:

"A minimum of 2 characters are required and maximum 250 characters."

    • You can enter uppercase as well as lowercase text to perform the search because the Search field is not case sensitive.

    • The characters allowed to perform search are alphanumeric, Unicode (French, Chinese characters, etc.), hyphen (-), comma (,) and apostrophe (').

When invalid text is entered in the Search field, the following error message is displayed:

      "Please enter valid characters"

    • When the performed search yields no results, the following message is displayed:

      "No cases found."

    • If there are no cases for the logged in user in the case list, the following message is displayed:

      "No cases are available."

The results are displayed based on the details provided in the search bar.
